The motel turned out to be a pleasant surprise for the money and the room was nice. We decided to start the day with a hike out to the point as we call it. It's a long rock covered trail along the sound. While hiking we were treated to a swarm of swallows that had to be a thousand. Was great to hike that trail.
We decided to wind down a bit and hit the beach for some r and r and strolling. Was a bit to cool for a swim but did get our feet in the 64 degree water. As I'm walking towards the water, smart alack Cheryl hollers "take off your socks"
Oh.....real funny 🤣
Of course we have to end our day eating at our favorite spot, Lenny and Joe's seafood house.
