A Baby Boy is Born

We got the call Wed. Morning and we were on the road by noon. Headed south to be part of another wonderful family event, the birth of our first grandson, Ashton Carter Haas. The ride never seems to get any shorter and we pushed on till dark. 

All worked out well and Ashton was born around 7:00pm wed. We hit the road at first day light and got to see him before he was a day old. Was a quadruple bonus, cause we got to see Addi, Jamie and Melissa too!!!!!

Back home we got to spend some camper time with Addi.

Ashton home at last and he loves it.

Biking Sandy Hook

Fall is turning to winter, but the forecast for today was mid sixties and sunny.....so, off to Sandy Hook for the day! First a much needed walk on the beach, followed by some much needed, explore the fort bike ride. 

Then off to see some old military sites, of which none were ever used against an enemy.

Then we hit the trails for some fun.

These bike are everything we could have hoped for!
