Binghamton Balloon Festival

Turn out the second try was a charm! After a failed attempt last year, we waited out the weather and the launch started just after 6:30pm, under blue skies. What a thrill seeing the first balloon lift off and float out of sight.

It's also a Spiedie Feast, which is a special marinated, cubed, grilled meat, served on fresh Italian roll or bread. This sandwich can only be found in and near this Binghamton area. We of course added a funnel cake and soft serve ice cream to our menu.
