Segway

What more can I say! We finally got to try out a Segway and it was everything we it would be. Guy named Remi took us all over Fort DeSoto Park on a two hour tour. The pictures that follow hardly tell the story.

Walkin the Flats

Spend a nice sunny day walking the sand flats out by north beach. Weather was great and we took it slow and easy, which was a nice change from the day before.

Sea Bean Fever

After a full day of rain we really needed to get out, so we headed to East Beach and tried to find the dreaded sea bean. We had good luck on our walk and even saw some nice flowers along the way.

We then headed to the bay fishing pier and after that on to the Gulf fishing pier. Watched a guy catch and release a pelican and had an ice cream cone. Not too bad of plan.

Floundered around and found an area with mammoth sea bean plants. Ended the day with kayak ride, from our camp site.

Baby Some Rain Must Fall

Started to rain around noon and they say by three, hold on your hat. I have set up the awning and pop up table cover. Having coffee under it right now.



Going to cook some steak on our foul weather grill.
