Heading For Disney
Well a update to where we are now. Right now we are camping in a campsite called Tropical Palms on 192 just outside Disney, we arrived at 7:00 last night. We will be heading to Fort Wilderness in Disney later this morning.
Tuesday after we left the wild horses we headed west and south towards Atlanta, we drove the whole day and ended in western SC at a very strange campground named Pinecone Camp. It was a place that had seen it's day passby. We arrived to a very skinny, very old and very rinkeled old woman, on a red white and blue golf cart. She took our money and said follow me, we passed campers that hadn't had anyone in them in years, but were still there, old cars and assorted junk. WE got our spot, hooked up, slept and left in the morning.
Wed. we rolled into Red Top Mt. State Park, north of Atlanta. It is located on Lake Alltoonna and it is beautiful! WE visited Jamie and Mellissa while we were there and had some great BBQ that Jamie brought to the campsite. I hope to post a few pictures of this camp.....
Thursday we rolled south towards Florida and Disney. The day saw temps that reached 88 and plenty of sun. The RV has done wonderful, both on the road and at the campsites.

On The Road...Finally!!!
We got the show on the road about 9:00am, under over cast skies. Dreamfinder ran well and did everything we could hope for. We arrived at Assateaque Island National Seashore at 3:00. The temp was a little on the cool side in the low 50's, with a slight breeze, but we sure did get to see some wild horses!!!
We decided to camp on the ocean side of the island and enjoyed a walk on the beach. It was funny to see horse foot prints in the sand and horse poop everywhere. The campsite was pretty much empty and we had a campfire after dinner.

Getting Closer
Well the vacation is about to begin, I am finished work and have the weekend to get Dreamfinder ready to roll. She is back from getting her repairs and all went well at the dealers. They didn't charge a thing and did a great job on the problems. Thanks, Cedar Ridge!
Tomorrow and Sunday will be to finalize getting Dreamfinder ready for the trip. I will have to blow the antifreeze out and put on fresh water, stock the food in, some clothes and make the bed. Then Monday morning if all goes well, we will be off to Assateague Island National Seashore. Weather is going to be nice should prove to be a nice day to travel.
All for now......
